Myself and 15 other students were invited to Grymsdyke Farm’s Reading Design program for the summer of 2024. Over the course of 4 weeks a design workshop was led by a designer, Marco Campardo, Attua Aparicio, Sarah van Gameren of Glithero and Guan Lee. Each week we explored a different material, glass, plaster, clay and bronze. The focus was learning by making within a community and highlighting the relationship between how we make and the tangible references of what is made. The results of all our experiments were displayed at Cromwell Place for London Design Festival.
